MEDIABLOGOUT EXCLUSIVE: INTERVIEW WITH LAURA DANNER!

We had the opportunity to see down with model Laura Danner and she was kind enough to do an interview for our blog. Please enjoy it.

Q1: Thank you Laura for taking the time to do this interview! Please tell the viewers about yourself? Where are you from?
LD: I'm from Biloxi, Ms.

Q2: How long have you been modeling for you?
LD:3 years

Q3: Have you found much success with modeling? What are some of the challenges that you've face with this career choice?
LD: I'm happy with my accomplishments so yea, I'm very successful.  I've dealt with the usual problems any female faces.  Not being tall enough, my cup size is too small, I don't fit a certain "look". You just have to understand you won't be accepted by everyone... it's not going to happen.  Plus, it's not your damned job to please them.

Q4: What are your aspirations with modeling? Do you want to expand into other areas such as acting?
LD: I'm really into baking and everything food.  I've been contemplating a food vlog hosted on youtube.  As far as acting, I have done a few small roles in some independent features and I enjoyed it.

Q5: Do you find it easy or difficult to book more jobs?
LD: It's a constant struggle but you can't expect the job to come to you.  You have to go get it.

Q6: Take us through the course of a day. Is there a balance between your personal life and your professional life?
LD: Wake up around 7 a.m. Walk the dog. Make coffee. Check emails and all my network sites. Make breakfast for my 3 little boys. Then some errands/light housework. Gymtime. Then unwind at home over dinner with my family.

Q7: Have you done any film or video work in the past or as of recent?
LD: Yep. 3 independent movies, Let's Go Walking Mississippi campaign commercial, Palace Casino ads, and a 3 Doors Down video.

Q8: Years from now, what do you want to have accomplished in your career?
LD: I want to have inspired other women to be themselves and not alter their personality or appearance to fit in.  It's not real. The popularity game is for the insecure.

Q9: What experiences have you learned from your career thus far?
LD: BE YOURSELF. If they don't like you then why the hell do you want them around you anyway?  Tell them to take a long walk on a short pier.
Q10: What are some final words to all who have supported you?
LD:  I love you guys.

Q11: We would like to thank you for doing this interview for us. Would you be kind to do another interview with us in the near future?
LD: Fo sho.
