June 6, 2014 sees the theatrical release for the Doug Liman directed film ' Edge of Tomorrow ' which stars Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt and Bill Paxton. The film is based on the Japanese novel, ' All You Need Is Kill ' and has a very heavy plot which involves an alien assault on Earth and one individual whom has the ability to reset the events in time at a fixed point that can enable him to help when the war. This new film provides more insight into the plot and helps with the films concept a lot better. There is also a behind the scenes featurette as well that definitely gives some character insight for both Tom Cruise's character of Cage and Emily Blunt's character Rita. The official trailer for the film ' Edge of Tomorrow ' which is based off the novel 'All You Need Is Kill' has hit the web and gives a much more in depth of the repeating and time of the story. I like the concept of redemption and time travel and correcting errors and can imagine the redundancy is hard to physically do and to learn from one's mistakes. Emily Blunt and Tom Cruise both look like they are giving their top performances in this dark science fiction. There is even a hint of comedic relief in a few scenes. Coming to theaters this September 28, 2012 is the film ' Looper ' starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis. The film deals with a hitman who kills targets from the future, only to discover that one of his targets is his future self.

Having been released online last we have the first official releases for the upcoming films for this year titled, ' Looper ' starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt, Jeff Daniels, and Piper Perabo in a film written and directed by Rian Johnson ( Brick (2005), The Brothers Bloom (2008) and deals with a killer (Gordon-Levitt / Willis) working for a mob in the future and realizes that one of his targets is his future self. This definitely is one of the films that has been on the must-see list since, production of it had been mentioned online. Definitely looking forward to seeing an official trailer for this soon in three days according to the teaser for the trailer attached at the bottom. ' Looper ' is in theaters September 28, 2012.
