This is a sizzle reel that was released at Comic-Con in San Diego. This is without a doubt has so much potential as a sci-fi thriller and I am definitely interested in seeing where the plot goes for this film! The premise deals with people stop aging at 25 and instead of making money, you buy time to continue to exist. This is definitely a film that looks to be a must-see in theaters. LUCASFILM HAS DONE IT! In theaters on January 20, 2012 comes 'Red Tails' and this looks to be epic! Big time epic! The story that surrounds the Tuskegee Airmen fighter pilots has been a film that has been 20 years in the making for George Lucas. Directed by Anthony Hemingway ( The Wire, Treme ) and Executive Produced by George Lucas, and Produced by Rick McCallum. This has a line-up of actors, Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard, Bryan Cranston, Neyo, Method Man and a long list of others. This theatrical trailer has an epic feel one of the first films to start of the 2012 film year! Enjoy!

In theaters in limited showings October 7, 2011, Dirty Girl stars English actress Juno Temple ( Atonement, Notes on a Scandal, Kaboom and The Dark Knight Rises ) plays the lead role of a young woman on a road trip to seek her father. Also starring Milla Jovovich, William H. Macy, Mary Steenburgen and more, it looks to be a very good film.

First official pic that was shown at San Diego Comic Con. This image is unique and shows the depth of Ridley Scott's level of detail on set. To learn the is being shot in 3D and all of the sets are built and there are a lot of practical effects being done on-set was something that has really captured my imagination. New upcoming action film ' Haywire ' from director Steven Soderbergh starring MMA star Gina Carano as Mallory Kane, a highly-trained operative who is doubled-crossed by someone and has to let a trap to save herself from being murdered and turn the tables on her killers. Haywire in theaters January 2012.

Co-writer Damon Lindelof and actress Charlize Theron were at San Diego Comic-Con and had talked about the upcoming sci-fi film ' Prometheus ' coming to theaters next year when they have a video link from Iceland with Ridley Scott who was in the process of filming the film's opening scene. Noomi Rapace ( Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows ) was also there to speak about the film, sporting red hair for the role. The film is also being shot in 3D as well as being done with practical effects. There is Alien DNA in the film and it is also discussed about the role of androids being involved in the film as well. In selected cities next Friday, July 29th, 2011 - Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin and Chicago, the release of 'Attack the Block' arrives. I had the pleasure of seeing this film back on May 25th, 2011 for a test screening and it was 5 stars. Definitely a good film and delivers and goes above and beyond expectations completely. I can say that it is sad that it is not getting a nationwide release but I am glad to see it get released in the states. For those of you who are not able to see it in theaters because it is not playing in your city, please make a note to get this dvd / blu-ray or digital download when it is released! The trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man reboot has surfaced online. While a retelling of the origin of the web slinger, this has a very dark sense about it compared to the Sam Raimi/Tobey Maguire trilogy. Andrew Garfield (The Social Network) is the new Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy is the new love interest in this version. With a darker tone and a deeper back story concerning Peter's parents, it will be interesting to see how well this version shapes up with it's predecessor. The Amazing Spider-Man will be in theaters July 3, 2012.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the more and more that is revealed from ' Rise of the Planet of the Apes ' the more I am convinced that this film is definitely a character driven film that is going to be excellent. This scene that was released online shows a prime example of the level of emotion that is shown by both live actors and the Computer Generated Character, Caesar. The video opens with Andy Serkis explaining the details of everything about the motion-capture technology used outdoors on an actual set. Please enjoy this scene. Very powerful from start to finish! The official photos for The Amazing Spider-Man have been released via Entertainment Weekly and the buzz is circling around the net about the look and feel of this film now! The film is slated for summer 2012 in 2D and 3D and was shot in 3D with the help of the same team that worked on Avatar (2009). We get to see Andrew Garfield as both Peter Parker upside downwards on the ceiling in the subway as well as Spider-Man in the suit. The magazine also shows the classic web-shooters that fans of the original comics know and love are apart of this new film saga. Emma Stone is shown in a couple of pics as Gwen Stacy as well Sally Fields as Aunt May, Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben and Ifan Rhys as Doctor Connor (The Lizard). This definitely was something a lot of people have been waiting to see and now we are just waiting to see if there is any news of a teaser trailer being released at San Diego Comic Con this weekend! Civil War Veteran John Carter is transplanted to Mars where he is held prisoner but the planets inhabitants, only to escape and encounter a princess that is in need of his help. In theaters October 14, 2011 The Thing the story deals with the discovery of an alien in the ice and difference of views between a graduate student and a scientist. This confrontation is brought about once the alien is freed from it's ice prison and begins to attack each member of the scientist team in Antarctica.

In theaters September 9, 2011 is Contagion starring Marion Cotillard, Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Laurence Fishburne and Gwenyth Paltrow. The film surfaces around a deadly disease that is becoming a pandemic and a group of international group of doctors contracted and deployed by the CDC to handle this outbreak.

Concept art has been released for the upcoming film ' Nurse 3D ' that stars Paz De La Huerta as the character Abby and is described as " ...a beautiful nurse who uses her sexuality to very severe ends ,” explained Mike Paseornek, Lionsgate’s President of Production and the executive in charge of the film. Definitely seems like a film that is going to be promising and being shot in 3D for be visceral. More info as it comes along. Stay tuned.
