JONATHAN'S "AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON" NON-SPOILER REVIEW

Hello gang,
Jonathan here with my spoiler-free review of Avengers: Age of Ultron. This was a serious delight to have seen this film in the theater and having the chance to report what I have fresh out of my head from the cinema. There is a lot to cover and I will make sure that I go into the characters and not reveal any of the plot points. This is something that is best to walk into cinema with fresh eyes and no knowledge. And with that, let's begin.

THE CHARACTERS

The first important thing that can be noticed is the story that is well crafted, well structured and the dialogue that is shared between our main protagonists is very spot on. This time around in the second installment you can see they have been become a team and are comfortable working together as one unified force which shows the team has matured over time. They no longer had their solo mentalities that each carried in the first Avengers.

The character of Tony Stark has definitely had the biggest amount of growth in the group. He is still the wise cracking character but he has become more mature in tone in this installment and you can see that it is trying to be a responsible man and make a difference whether that difference is for the good or ill is to be determined. But it was very good to watch how he character manages to deal with his past and conflicts as a whole.

Captain America stands out as the leader and really wants to make a difference in the world and just keeps getting better with each film installment. He has become the first Avenger and does he utmost to protect and do the right thing. He has a chunk of humor as well that is delightful to see that he still has he mind from during his time period so certain things he thinks are inappropriate are common in modern time. And the cool thing is that he knows his team their strengths and how to combine them.

Hulk was used in a different manner than usual and this time he was brute force but he had his own demons that he faced in this film. He is dealing with the consequences of becoming the Hulk and the havoc that he wrought forth from him transforming into The Hulk. It was very cool to watch the inner turmoil that his character faced with becoming the Hulk and losing control. There is a character that Bruce connects with very well in the film and it was nice to see Bruce have someone that could comprehend his struggle with trying to be normal and lead a normal life. It was just nice to see that he his character become mature and have another layer to him other than just being the Hulk and smashing everything.

Black Widow continues to have more depth added to her character and definitely was very cool to see her backstory get explored in this film. Definitely was something that provided insight into her mindset and how she carries burdens that have had a massive effect on her psyche. She is like the backbone of the team and particular for Captain America and has his back during many different scenes. She is heroic and protect them and is an equal in all aspects.

Hawkeye really stood out. His character had the most fascinating development throughout the film. The character revelations that were presented for his character really were impressive and the pacing of his story was interwoven into the plot of the story very well and executed equally so. It made Hawkeye a very relatable character which whom you find favor in and was a change from his character in the first Avengers movie. By far one of the standout performances of the film.

Thor brought both a heavier role in his search for answers to things that were apart of the plot and his humor was essential and natural to the plot. Though like most films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe there are a lot of setups for other films by including elements that lead in as cliffhangers to other films and there was a very big set up for what's to come with Thor: Ragnarok.

The Maximoff Twins were very good additions to the story and served a very unique purpose without spoiling their roles in the film but it was very cool to see characters with powers and abilities in the story alongside seeing their reaction of our heroes when they discover them.

Ultron was a formidable foe whom had his reasons for what he believed would be the end goal for the world and for the greater good. He was played off as the darker version of Tony Stark and carried similar wit and humor as well.

The Vision is a character that I just was solely impressed. Without spoiling anything he is one of the most fun and best additions to the film. His introduction into the story and his interactions and mannerisms  with the characters is engrossing and simply put, it leaves you wanting more.

The whole team stands out and each individual brings something to the table. That is one of the coolest things about the story for and definitely recommend that of you have been watching the films all this time that you definitely check this film out in theaters for yourself. Don't base it off what you read reviews from critics. Go off your own opinions and gauge it that way. This is a must see for sure.
