STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS OFFICIAL TRAILER

"A war left unfinished...until now." These are the words that said everything during the trailer for the return of 'Star Wars: Clone Wars' and it the trailer comes as a shock and a surprise. There is still much to unpack. There will be 12 all-new episodes are going to be released for the streaming service to my understanding which will be online on the new Disney Streaming Service and will expand the universe. There are a lot of surprises and it looks to be as grand as the previous seasons.

The whole gang is back of course, our main set of characters being Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Rex, Padme Amadala and the like. Definitely like the aging of the characters in this trailer. Anakin looks aged a bit and the animation has once again improved in the texture and the lighting. Ahsoka looks older as well and it is good to see her in this trailer and seeing how the story from the Ahsoka novel and this new season will link up together. Also will be good to see if anything from the new Canon will be added into the story like things already in the novels like the Aftermath trilogy or if Lor San Tekka will make an appearance as a young man. Definitely would be cool to see a link of those things begin in this story. Or even Grand Admiral Thrawn making an appearance with Anakin. But that's my mind going all over the place. 

If there was one thing that main me want to consider making an account for Disney Direct, this along with the Jon Favreau live action series is another reason. Let's enjoy this trailer and begin the fun of the return of 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars.'
