Enslaved Odyssey to the West Behind the Game - Part One 'Reinventing a Legend'

In this behind the scenes video for the video game 'Enslaved: Odyssey to the West' we're given insight to the creation of the story which was based off of the ancient Chinese story, 'Journey to the West.' Along with having Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings Trilogy, King Kong, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Hobbit) as the lead character Monkey and co-director, we're also introduced to the character of Trip by played actress Lindsey Shaw (10 Things I Hate About You series), the two main characters of the story as well as the same names of the original characters for the story 'Journey to the West' by Ch'eng-En Wu. Richard Ridings is cast as Pigsy, a comedic character in the story as well.

To add more info to the behind the scenes, screenplay writer Alex Garland (28 Days Later, Never Let Me Go, Sunshine) and writer of the novelization of 'The Beach' was brought on to be a co-writer for the video game to give a great level of depth and a cinematic feel to the game. Enjoy!
